Privacy information
Under the
table.
Handspan keeps its interaction deliberately small. This page turns the table over and shows what the Android app stores, what it leaves empty, how the static website behaves, and which publication details still belong to the publisher.

Each link leads to a complete plain-language section. The labels follow the app's actual behavior; the table metaphor never replaces the details.
Two surfaces covered here
This notice covers the Handspan Android app and this two-route Handspan website.
The app and website have different behavior. The Android app is an interactive reflection table. The website is static editorial information about the app plus this privacy page. A future store listing, public hosting service, or third-party destination may have its own practices.

Who Handspan is meant for
Handspan is written for adults and older teens using brief reflection prompts independently or with a trusted adult.
It is not designed as a child-directed service, school system, ministry enrollment tool, or professional-care channel. A family or shared-device user should review saved Sleeves before handing the device to someone else.

Reflection, not ministry intake
The app offers independent, app-authored prompts about everyday attention and practical care.
It does not collect requests for services, prayer, counseling, donations, eligibility, volunteering, membership, emergencies, or confidential support. It does not represent an official program or communication channel of The Armor of God.

The choices you make
You can select one of four rails, open a theme, choose a prompt phase, place a slip on the Assembly Surface, save it in Sleeves, remove it, or clear all local choices.
These taps are used to update the visible app state. There is no text-entry field, questionnaire, contact form, upload, camera flow, voice capture, or location selector.

What stays on this device
The Android app stores only small identifiers for the selected rail, slips currently on the Assembly Surface, and slips stored in Sleeves.
Those identifiers point to built-in Handspan themes and phases. They are saved in app preferences on the device so the table can look the same when you return. The app does not turn them into an identity or send them to a server.

No journal or message box
Handspan does not ask you to type names, stories, health details, beliefs, contact information, prayer requests, or notes about another person.
Because there is no journal field, the app cannot preserve, transmit, or recover a written reflection. Keep sensitive details outside the app and choose a safer place if you need to document them.

Permissions and device features
The release app does not request camera, microphone, contacts, files, photos, location, calendar, Bluetooth, notification, phone, or advertising-ID permission.
The Android manifest does not request internet access. If a future version adds a permission or connected feature, this notice and the store declarations should be revised before that version is distributed.

No account or profile
The app has no sign-in, registration, password, member record, cloud profile, social graph, or cross-device identity.
The website also presents no account form. A Play Store or browser provider may separately process an account under its own terms when you obtain or view the app; Handspan does not receive those provider credentials.

No in-product audience meter
The Android source includes no analytics, advertising, attribution, behavior-profiling, crash-reporting, or marketing SDK.
The local website files contain no analytics script, advertising tag, tracking pixel, cookie banner, or behavioral profiling code. A future host may maintain ordinary operational server logs; that hosting behavior must be confirmed when a public host is selected.

App connections and website hosting
The Android app is built without the internet permission and does not make an app-level network connection.
Viewing a publicly hosted website necessarily sends ordinary request information—such as an IP address, requested path, time, and browser details—to the selected hosting infrastructure. No host is claimed in this local preview, so the publisher must add accurate host-specific language before public deployment.

Nothing is sent to the organization
Selecting a prompt, placing a slip, saving a Sleeve, removing a choice, or clearing the table does not send information to The Armor of God or to an app operator.
The app contains no donation, booking, help-request, membership, volunteer, email, chat, or reporting channel. Do not use it to seek urgent assistance.

Keeping and removing handspans
Local prompt identifiers remain until you remove them, clear all local choices, clear the app's storage in Android settings, or uninstall the app.
The Assembly Surface holds up to four slips. Sleeves keep up to twenty-four prompt references; when the limit is exceeded, the oldest references are removed by the app. Handspan has no cloud restore service. Android backup and device-transfer rules exclude these preferences.

Protecting local choices
Android normally isolates app preferences from other ordinary apps. Handspan relies on that platform sandbox and on the device owner's lock and operating-system security.
No storage system can be described as perfectly secure. The prompt identifiers are not separately encrypted by Handspan, so avoid treating them as a vault for sensitive records. The app collects no free text specifically to reduce that risk.

Controls available to you
You can remove a slip from the Assembly Surface, remove a prompt from Sleeves, or choose “Clear local choices” from the Organization Leaf.
Android system settings also let you clear the app's storage or uninstall the app. Because the app has no account or server record, there is no remote deletion request to submit for app state.

External resources and links
The website may link to platform guidance, a store listing, or a publisher-selected organization destination. Following an external link leaves the Handspan website.
The destination's operator controls its own content and privacy practices. A link does not mean Handspan can verify the destination's claims or manage information you provide there. Review the destination before sharing personal details.

Changes and effective date
This local policy version is dated August 26, 2026. It describes the release behavior represented by this project workspace.
If the app's storage, permissions, connections, third-party components, or website hosting behavior changes, the publisher should revise the relevant sections and effective date before distributing that version. This local date does not claim that the app or website is already public.

Publisher contact
The publisher has not supplied a verified public privacy-contact channel for this local build. No address, email, form, or phone number is invented here.
Before public publication, the publisher should add an actively monitored contact method and confirm that it is authorized for Handspan privacy questions. Store-support information and the live privacy page should use the same confirmed channel.

At the clear edge
The useful promise is the behavior you can inspect.
Return to the introduction to see how the four rails turn those small local choices into an interaction.
